Battle of the Eras 1995

A digitized fighting game released in 1995 on floppy disk, but having sold absolutely no copies. Re-released for free digitally in 2013. In the year 80,000 AD, humankind has reached the peak of its evolution and is facing the threat of de-evolution. In their panicked attempts to shed their corporeal forms, they mistakenly introduced mutations into the gene pool. In time, only a select few retained enough brain power to continue the scientific research. One of these researchers, known as Temporus, decides to play God by pitting some of history's greatest warriors together in a grand tournament -- the results of which will decide whether or not humankind is worth saving! The player is tasked with mastering the fighting style and special skills of one of five available characters, in order to lead him to victory. Each fighter has his own unique strengths, weaknesses, and attack range. One thing however is the same for all: there is but one chance to succeed!
