Set several years after the end of Risen, raging titans have devastated the world and pushed humanity to the brink of existence. Subsequently, monstrous creatures have risen from the watery depths of the sea and their attacks have brought all seafaring to a grinding halt. In a pirate-soaked fantasy world of tropical islands, voodoo magic, and ancient gods, colossal Titans have risen to ravage the land, and a monstrous Kraken under the sea goddess Mara's command sinks any ship that dares the ocean, leaving the last remnants of the Inquisition besieged in the fortress of Caldera. A former Inquisition agent is sent undercover among the pirates to uncover a rumored weapon capable of killing the Titans and their beasts. Teaming up with the fierce pirate Patty, who is chasing her legendary father and his hidden treasure, the hero sets sail across the islands in search of the means to strike back against the Titans and free the seas.
