Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z delivers over-the-top anime action and intensity, presented in new cell-shaded HD graphics. Focusing on team battles, players will be able to battle online with or against their friends in frantic 4-player co-op or up to 8-player vs. Battle of Z’s expanded team battle and co-op modes allows players to create teams of four characters to take on opponents across the globe. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z draws its story from the major sagas of the Dragon Ball Z series, following Goku and his fellow Z Fighters as they defend Earth from an escalating series of threats. Across its missions, players relive the confrontations against foes such as the Saiyans, the tyrant Frieza, the bio-android Cell, and the monstrous Majin Buu. The game reframes these battles around team-based combat, letting familiar heroes and villains fight side by side. It also folds in elements from the film Battle of Gods, including the arrival of the powerful god of destruction Beerus.
