Call of Duty: Ghosts 2013

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a first-person shooter set in a near-future scenario where the United States has been devastated by an orbital weapons strike. The single-player campaign follows Logan Walker, a soldier fighting alongside an elite special operations unit called the Ghosts against the Federation of the Americas, a South American military superpower. Multiplayer introduces destructible map elements, new game modes such as Cranked and Blitz, and a Squads mode with AI-controlled teammates. The game also features Extinction, a four-player cooperative mode where players fight waves of alien creatures called Cryptids. In the near future, a conflict in the Middle East destroys the region's oil fields, triggering a global energy crisis. South American oil-producing nations unite into the Federation of the Americas, a military dictatorship that rapidly conquers Central America and Mexico. The Federation hijacks an American orbital weapons platform and uses it to devastate cities across the southwestern United States, reshaping the balance of global power overnight. Ten years later, brothers Logan and Hesh Walker serve along the fortified border that now divides what remains of the U.S. from Federation territory. When a Federation operative named Rorke, a former Ghost turned traitor through brainwashing, begins hunting and killing members of the elite Ghosts unit, the brothers are recruited into the squad by their father, its leader. Together they must stop Rorke, uncover the Federation's plans for a second orbital weapon, and strike back before the enemy can finish what it started.
