Ludo Ancient is a turn-based, Fantasy, Realtime Strategy, and dice-based board video game, inspired by Sangam landscapes. Kurinji —Mountainous Region Mullai —Forests Marutham —Cropland Neithal —Seashore Paalai —Dry Lands. In the Fantasy world of Gurulogam, the continent of eyenilam is home to different clans and races. Gurulogam is protected by ancestral deities, heroes, and dragons, and Fighting among the races and clans are strictly restricted to battle only on sathurangam. As an aspiring clan leader, The responsibility of uniting all the clans and races to create a unified, prosperous, and synergetic eyenilam continent rest upon your shoulders. Ludo Ancient is set in different landscapes inspired by Sangam literature, ancient Tamil literature where land masses are divided into five categories. Humans, orcs, elves, and dwarves races share the continent of Eyenilam but the rift between the races and clans undermines the prosperity of the continent. Battles are fought in the sathurangam a board game with cuboid dice and the movement of soldiers is controlled by the dice roll. As an aspiring clan leader, the player can start from one race and unite the entire race under one flag. The player can promote the soldiers in sathurangam ( board under the clan temple) and unveil the unique attacks of the different soldier's classes. The player can summon heroes and dragons to earn the right for challenging other clans and races.
