Limbo is a black and white puzzle-platforming adventure. Players take the role of a young boy traveling through an eerie and treacherous world in an attempt to discover the fate of his sister. An unnamed boy awakens alone at the edge of a dark forest. Driven by the need to find his missing sister, he pushes deeper into an environment filled with lethal traps, hostile creatures, and industrial hazards. With no explanation of where he is or how he arrived, the boy must navigate increasingly dangerous terrain, solving physical puzzles and evading threats that grow more sinister the further he travels.
