Paradise Island, a world outside reality. There’s been a murder that only "investigation freak" Lady Love Dies can solve. Gather evidence and interrogate suspects in this open world adventure. You can accuse anyone, but you’ll have to prove your case in trial to convict. It’s up to you to decide who’s guilty. In a strange pocket universe drenched in vaporwave color and cosmic dread, a group of immortal beings called the Syndicate labors to build a perfect society and reawaken their ancient, alien gods. Their method is monstrous: they abduct humans to live as Citizens on a series of doomed islands, then ritually sacrifice them to fuel the next attempt. The current effort, Paradise Island 24, is only the latest in a long line of failures. On the very night the island is meant to be sacrificed and its people moved on, catastrophe strikes: the entire Syndicate Council is found slaughtered inside a chamber only they could enter, an impossible locked-room murder. To untangle the crime, the Syndicate summons detective Lady Love Dies from three million days of exile. Free to roam the island and question its secretive residents, she must gather evidence, expose lies, and decide who will answer for the killings.
